Today (August 31, 2015): Top 10 best Business Class amenity kits in the skies.

Flying Business Class is purely aspirational for most, a lifetime experience for some, and a must for a select few. I previously published our top 10 list of the world’s best longhaul Business Class cabins. Besides gourmet food, a flatbed, more attentive service and access to the airline’s lounge, Business Class passengers will also receive an upgraded amenity kit as compared to travelers in Economy (‘cattle’) Class. I hereby present you my top 10 selection of the best Business Class amenity kits in the skies. Some of them are real collector items, and you will want to take them home after your flight!

There is more info below the slide show. Think I missed one? Share your favorite Business Class amenity kit in the comments section, or take my poll below!

8. ALITALIA

Italy identifies itself with exceptional design, and so does its national carrier Alitalia, which is currently undergoing a rebranding following Etihad Airways’ investment. The Alitalia’s amenity bag exudes elegance and fashion. The award-winning-Salvatore Ferragamo creation is stylish enough to be used as an evening bag. Inside, there’s a line of Bianco di Carrara products (face cream, body lotion, lip balm, perfume) in addition to toothbrush, toothpaste, Bilsom ear plugs, extra-soft socks, an eye mask, and Menthos. Bravissimo!

3. TURKISH AIRLINES

Turkish Airlines’ amenity kits are based on world-famous design brands Jaguarn Cerruti, Bentley, and Chopard. On outbound flights, the Jaguar branded bag is offered, which comes in a quality high-tech material symbolizing the “grace, pace and space” of Jaguar cars, and can be reused as a tablet case or document holder. The size of the bag can be expanded by undoing the zipper so that passengers can carry more or larger items. On inbound flights, the Cerruti branded bag is offered, which is made of a specifically developed leather-like material to create the sense of nonchalant chic which is typical for Cerruti.  The design of the bag is elegant and simple, with a front flap which adds sophistication, and can be reused as a toiletry bag or to store personal items when travelling.

The contents of the Rimowa overnight kits include lotion and lip balm from Harnn (Thailand’s top spa and skincare brand), a screen cleansing cloth for mobile devices, a satin sleeping mask, sleeping socks, toothpaste, a toothbrush, and a comb.
